About Our Publication

Prep Illustrated started in 1993 as a local publication coving sports events in the Fort Dodge, Iowa area. We quickly grew from local to statewide to becoming the first high school only sports publication nationwide. This rapid growth is due to both the quality of the publication and the demand for additional exposure by the advertisers.

We have established our credibility throughout the years by not allowing tobacco, alcohol or profanity inside the publication.

Prep Illustrated continually serves as a top source of sports-related supplies and services. We are distributed to high schools, colleges, and libraries, both school and public, on a complimentary basis to better serve our advertisers.
